Braces

Braces are dental appliances used to straighten teeth by applying gentle and continuous pressure on them to move them into their proper positions. They consist of brackets mounted on the teeth, arch wires connecting the brackets, bands that wrap around individual teeth, and elastic or metal ties for securing the wire onto the brackets. Braces correct bite issues such as overbite, underbite, crossbite, or open bite that can cause difficulty in chewing food or speaking properly.
